FIELD: manufacturing technology.
SUBSTANCE: present invention relates to a phenol resin-based foam having low environmental impact, can maintain excellent heat-insulating properties for a long period of time and reduces condensation inside walls associated with increased penetration of water vapor, and also to a method for production thereof. Disclosed is phenol resin-based foam containing phenol resin and at least one compound selected from a group consisting of chlorinated hydrofluoroolefin, non-chlorinated hydrofluoroolefin, where the phenol resin-based foam plastic has a density of at least 20 kg/m3 and not more than 100 kg/m3, phenol resin-based foam plastic has an average pore diameter of at least 10 mcm and not more than 300 mcm, foam phenol based on phenol resin has a portion of closed pores of at least 80 % and not more than 99 %, and phenol resin-based foam plastic has water vapor permeability of at least 0.63 ng/(m⋅s⋅Pa) and not more than 1.25 ng/(m⋅s⋅Pa). Also disclosed is a method of producing foam plastic.
EFFECT: technical result consists in improvement of heat-insulating properties of material.
