FIELD: ventilation.
SUBSTANCE: declared is a group of inventions called a ventilation device and a ventilation method using a digital valve positioner. Digital valve positioner includes a housing, one hole of the exhaust channel formed in the housing, and a ventilation device functionally connected to one hole of the exhaust channel. Ventilation device comprises a main part having a passage, a valve seat surrounding the passage, and a check valve arranged inside the passage. Check valve is configured to displace from closed position, in which it is pressed to valve seat, in open position, in which it is spaced from valve seat. Plurality of barriers are arranged around the check valve and arranged to enclose the check valve. Plurality of barriers are designed to prevent penetration of the external medium into the check valve and to create a winding flow path for the exhaust medium, which reduces the sound passing through the ventilation device.
EFFECT: design of a digital valve positioner, in particular a ventilation device for a digital valve positioner with high throughput capacity.
