SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a transmission device which inserts metadata into an audio stream and transmits a received audio stream. It is proposed to transfer container of specified format, including audio stream, in which metadata are inserted. Identification information indicating that metadata is inserted into the audio stream is inserted at the container level. At the receiving side, it is easy to recognize that metadata are inserted into the audio stream and reliably receive metadata without loss by performing processing of extracting metadata inserted into the audio stream based on recognition. Enabling the receiving side to easily recognize that the metadata are inserted into the audio stream in order to improve the processing characteristics.
EFFECT: technical result is to provide recognition capabilities so that the metadata is inserted into the audio stream in order to improve the processing performance.
