FIELD: biotechnology.
SUBSTANCE: present invention relates to production of therapeutic and diagnostic antibodies. Disclosed is an antibody polypeptide with binding specificity for human kallikrein-2 (hK2). Antibody polypeptide comprises (a) a heavy chain variable region comprising the amino acid sequences SEQ ID NO: 1, SEQ ID NO: 2 and SEQ ID NO: 3 and (b) a light chain variable domain comprising the amino acid sequences SEQ ID NO: 4, SEQ ID NO: 5 and SEQ ID NO: 6, wherein the heavy chain variable region and the light chain variable region include amino acid sequences of the framework portion from one or more human antibodies. Disclosed is an isolated nucleic acid molecule encoding an antibody polypeptide, encoding a heavy chain of an antibody polypeptide, encoding a light chain of an antibody polypeptide. Also disclosed are a recombinant host cell for expression of an antibody polypeptide, a method of producing an antibody polypeptide, a kit and a pharmaceutical composition for treating prostate cancer. Invention additionally provides use of said antibody polypeptides in diagnosing and treating prostate cancer.
EFFECT: invention allows extending the range of products for treating and diagnosing prostate cancer.
