FIELD: electric power engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to power engineering and can be used at thermal power plants with steam turbine Rankine cycle, for example at condensing power plants – CPP, at combined-cycle power plants – CCP using fuel – traditional natural gas. Application of proposed method allows to achieve technical task in increase of efficiency and reliability of power plant, as in any modes, including normal and emergency, in power system own needs and heating of network water are always power supply. In operation method of thermal power plant with own needs, according to which network water supplied from consumers through heat exchanger is heated in network heaters from turbine working medium take-offs, electric power plant is equipped with power plant on fuel elements for auxiliary power supply, reduces turbine working medium withdrawals to network heaters and proportionally, before heating of network water in network heaters, its temperature in heat exchanger is increased, in which heating medium is used products of reactions in power plant on fuel elements.
EFFECT: technical result consists in increase of power supply to power system by value of consumption of own needs and due to increase of thermal efficiency of station.
