SUBSTANCE: present invention relates to a method of making a surface coating with an embossed printing surface. Substrate (16) is continuously moved through a production line, wherein on said substrate (16) first a printed pattern is made in printing equipment (12), and then embossing pattern combined with printed pattern is made in embossing device (14). Printing equipment (12) makes printed pattern in line with production of embossed pattern. During printing in printing equipment (12) printed pattern is stretched or compressed, dynamically reacting to indicators of mismatch between printed pattern and embossed pattern so that to correct or prevent these mismatches. Present invention also relates to a production line for realizing this method.
EFFECT: technical result is correction and prevention of deformation of printed pattern.
