FIELD: microbiology.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to veterinary microbiology and is a is a poly-strain formolated vaccine against calves pneumonia streptococcal etiology, comprising strains Streptococcus pneumoniae, Streptococcus zooepidemicus 2082 (serogroup C), Enterococcus faecalis 356 (serogroup D), wherein inactivation of microorganisms and addition of an adjuvant – aluminum hydroxide, is characterized by that the vaccine as an antigen contains a bacterial mass of strains Streptococcus pneumoniae, Streptococcus zooepidemicus 2082 (serogroup C), Enterococcus faecalis 356 (serogroup D), taken in the vaccine in equal volumes with initial concentrations of microorganisms 3–8 billion m.b./cm3, and culturing strains of streptococci is carried out with a redox potential of the culture liquid -200 ÷ -150 mV, after which till cultivation process is completed, pO2 in the culture liquid at level of 15–25 % of saturation with air oxygen, the pH of the culture liquid is adjusted at 6.8–7.2, and fractional glucose supply is carried out in doses to concentration of 0.05–0.2 % with limiting growth of streptococci glucose, inactivation of streptococci cultures is carried out formaldehyde at temperature 41–45 °C for 3–5 days, wherein final concentration of formaldehyde in culture is 0.03–0.07 %.
EFFECT: invention provides effective prevention and therapy of calves pneumonia.
