FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention refers to traumatology and neurosurgery. Long nerve defects are recovered. Conduit is formed from an epineural envelope of the same nerve. Lumbar puncture technique is followed by accessing the spinal cord liquor space. Catheter is inserted into the catheter; the catheter is inserted into the duplication of the epineural conduit in the region of the epineural membrane folding and fixed with sutures. Conduit space is filled with liquor taken from the subdural space of the spinal cord.
EFFECT: method allows improving quality of recovery of extended defects of nerve fibres by means of conduit with maximally matching structural and physiological properties with nerve tissues.
