SUBSTANCE: invention relates to acoustics, particularly to devices for generating sound field. Device comprises a unit for evaluating the direction of the sound source, a unit for calculating the basis function, a unit for generating the sound field component. Unit for generating the sound field component computes the corresponding components based on the basic function, information on the direction to the sound source and the reference signal received from the microphone. Device also has a unit for calculating components of the diffuse sound field, a unit for combining components of the direct and diffuse sound fields. Unit for calculating the diffuse sound field is based on a decorrelator of audio signals. Device also includes a frequency-time conversion unit. Basis function is calculated based on azimuth and elevation angle.
