FIELD: technological processes.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a method of reinforcing articles from carbon composite reinforced polymer materials. Technical result is achieved by a method for hardening articles from epoxy binder-based polymer composite materials based on carbon fiber, which includes impregnation of fibrous filler with epoxy binder, shaping and hardening of workpiece under action of magnetic field. After final shaping and solidification of the article, additional exposure to the microwave electromagnetic field is carried out using frequency of 433–2,450 MHz with thickness of the article in range of 30 to 5–7 mm, with input radiation power excluding heating of article above 35–40 °C that, the electromagnetic wave antinode is scanned on the processed surface, providing covering the exposure spot by at least 50 % and total processing time in each surface irradiation spot equal to 1–2 minutes.
EFFECT: technical result is higher strength of finished articles.
