FIELD: process engineering.
SUBSTANCE: glass plastic consists of at least two plies of glass cloth and at least one prepreg ply. The latter includes binder and fibrous filler. Prepreg ply is arranged between inner and outer glass cloth plies so that its fibres are directed perpendicular to substrate threads to threads of weft of glass cloth inner and outer plies. Glass cloth plies may be not impregnated.
EFFECT: higher anisotropy of hybrid material, hence higher resistance to whatever cyclic load.
