FIELD: automated pipettes.
SUBSTANCE: invention is related in particular to robotic pipette devices, which can be air-displacement pipettes. A pipette system containing a module body comprising a stationary contact surface, and a pusher assembly comprising a pipette tip holder, a motor disposed within the module body and configured to dispense liquid by actuating a piston in the cylinder and moving the pusher assembly in a first direction thereby that the pipette tip comes into contact with the stationary contact surface and is released from the holder, wherein the ejector assembly is partially located within the module body, and the motor is selectively coupled to the ejector assembly by means of a sliding assembly, wherein the sliding assembly and the ejector assembly are attached to each other or are disconnected from each other depending on the position of the sliding unit.
EFFECT: simplification of the design of the pipette.
