SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the agricultural machine building. Forage harvester comprises drive system for actuation of forage harvester and working element for harvesting of agricultural crops. Working element is made with possibility of movement between working position and transport position. Drive system comprises caterpillar propulsor. Working element can move into transport position, in which segments of working element are located along both longitudinal sides of forage harvester above caterpillar propulsor and pass from front to rear in longitudinal direction of forage harvester.
EFFECT: forage harvester provides optimum weight distribution in working element transport position.
