FIELD: oil and gas industry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to oil and gas and chemical industry, in particular to a method of enrichment with helium of helium-containing natural gas. Method of enrichment with helium of helium-containing natural gas includes introduction of the main flow of helium-containing natural gas into channel, in which redistribution of helium is provided by means of centrifugal force, with saturation with helium of part of main flow located closer to center of rotation. Then, the helium-saturated stream is collected into an isolated discharge channel and the rest of the main stream is separated. Main flow is introduced into the channel at rate of 1–300 m/s, in the pressure range of 1–100 bar, and centrifugal force is provided by turning the channel with the main flow. Part of the main stream of helium-saturated natural gas is sampled after turning the channel in the helium concentration zone near the channel wall closest to the flow center with an isolated discharge channel.
EFFECT: simplification of method due to possibility of gas separation and extraction of helium from non-laminar flow.
