FIELD: technological processes.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to chemistry of solid-phase conversions of inorganic compounds, specifically to synthesis of ternary compounds of indates of rare-earth elements (REE) with a perovskite structure, and can be used both in chemical industry, and in optoelectronics and microelectronics. Method of producing REE indates (Ln – La, Ce, Pr, Nd, Sm, Gd, Er) involves depositing, with a solution of ammonia from a mixture of solutions of nitrates of rare-earth elements of hydrated oxides of rare-earth elements and indium, i.e. their α-forms Ln2O3⋅nH2O, In2O3⋅nH2O, characterized by high chemical activity compared to β-forms Ln2O3, In2O3, which are obtained when calculating initial oxides, and calcining obtained mixtures at 800 °C for 24 hours.

EFFECT: obtaining REE indates at lower temperature.
