FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a method for producing selenides containing d- and f-elements, (Sr,Eu)IILNIIICuISe3 (Ln = La, Nd, Sm, Gd-Lu, Sc, Y), which are promising for use in electro-optics, photovoltaics, nonlinear optical devices, thermal data storage devices, and also as semiconductor and magnetic, highly efficient thermoelectric materials. A method for obtaining rhombic syngony selenides (Sr,Eu)LnCuSe3 (Ln = La, Nd, Sm, Gd-Lu, Sc, Y) of three structural types Ba2MnS3, Eu2CuS3, KZrCuS3, including sample preparation of Cu, Eu2O3/SrCO3 and Ln2O3 (Ln = La, Nd, Sm, Gd-Lu, Sc, Y)/Tb4O7, their subsequent dissolution at 80°C in 65% nitric acid in the ratio 1Cu:1Eu / Sr:1Ln, joint crystallization of crystallohydrates and partial dehydration at 90°C, partial/complete dehydration when heated to 400°C, destruction of nitric acid salts and oxynitrates at 800°C for 5 h to oxides, grinding of the oxide mixture, high-temperature reducing selenidization in the H2 stream (pressure 0.004 MPa) and H2Se (60.7 vol. %) at 700-770°C for 2.5-12 hours and at 900°C for 6-12 hours (EuLnCuSe3); at 600°C for 6 hours, at 700°C for 6 hours and at 800°C for 32 hours (SrLnCuSe3) with periodic grinding of the product.
EFFECT: proposed method makes it possible to obtain rhombic syngony (Eu, Sr)LnCuSe3 selenides of three structural types, to reduce the temperature-time and energy characteristics of the process of obtaining a homogeneous product.
