SUBSTANCE: disclosed group of inventions relates to the field of manufacturing a fiber-optic tape. Method for manufacturing a fiber-optic tape and device for realizing the disclosed method includes steps of feeding optical fibers along a direction of length, resin is applied intermittently in direction of length by rotation between adjacent optical fibers of rotating element having recess. Speed of movement in direction of length of peripheral edge part of rotating element in position, where peripheral edge part of rotating element blocks resin between optical fibers, is less, than rate of supply of optical fibers.
EFFECT: increased strength of connecting parts connecting adjacent optical fibers.
