FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: invention describes fuel for marine cargo transport vessels generating electric power on board a ship, and for onshore turbines operating on gas combustion products, engines, fire furnaces, such as boilers generating electric power on land, satisfying or exceeding all technical characteristics of ISO RMA 10 (ISO 8217-10), except for the flash point, characterized in that the fuel contains a range of hydrocarbons having (i) the initial boiling point of naphtha, wherein range of hydrocarbons from C3 has initial boiling point of about 175 °C, and (ii) the highest boiling point is the highest boiling point of its component, where said high-boiling point component is soluble in solvent, suitable for solvent separation, such as heptane, wherein said fuel has: (a) a sulphur content of 0.50 by weight (wt. %) or lower, in a preferred embodiment of the present invention in range of 0.05 to 0.20 by weight (wt. %), (b) sodium content - 10 mg/kg, vanadium content - 0.2 mg/kg and aluminium together with silicon - 0.2 mg/kg, and (c) flash point less than 60 °C without correction of flash temperature.
EFFECT: technical result is obtaining low-sulphur fuel, which meets or exceeds all technical characteristics of ISO RMA 10 (ISO 8217-10).
