FIELD: wireless communication equipment.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the mobile communication. Wireless device 230 is serviced by the first radio network node (RNN) 210, and the wireless device and the first RNN operate in the wireless communication system 200. Wireless device determines difference between second signal parameter of second signal and first signal parameter of first signal, wherein the first and second parameters are received from the first RNN. When the determined difference is greater than the first predetermined threshold value for the cell reselection procedure, the wireless device launches the cell reselection procedure.

EFFECT: reduction of electric energy consumption by a wireless device owing to shorter time of finding a receiver and a transmitter in an on state.
