SUBSTANCE: invention relates to encoding with prediction using motion compensation. Proposed is a motion compensation device comprising: a brightness signal interpolation filtering module which is configured to determine in the reference image a brightness signal of the brightness signal reference unit for predicting the current block by using the current unit brightness signal motion vector, and generating a brightness signal sampling element of 1/4 or 3/4 pixel location included in the brightness signal reference block; and a chrominance signal interpolation filtering module, which is configured to determine in the chrominance base reference signal of the chrominance signal support unit for prediction of the current block by using the chrominance signal motion vector of the current block, and generating chrominance signal sampling element of 1/8 or 1/2 pixel location included in chrominance signal reference block, filtration coefficients of 7-tap filter for generation of the brightness signal sampling element of 1/4 pixel location are arranged in the reverse order with respect to the filtration coefficients of 7-tap filter to generate a sample element of the brightness signal of 3/4 pixel location.
EFFECT: more accurate prediction based on efficient image interpolation.
