SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the computer equipment. Method of decoding video data using a mode with an intraframe copy of a unit comprises: including a current image and a reference image in a list of reference images, wherein the reference image is different from the current image; determining co-arranged reference image block, wherein co-arranged unit is co-arranged with current block of current image; deriving temporal predictor of motion vector, based on co-arranged unit; determining that temporal predictor of motion vector has subpixel accuracy; shifting to the right a temporal predictor of a motion vector determined having sub-pixel accuracy; determining, based on the right-shifted temporary predictor of the motion vector, the predicted block in the current image; formation of residual block by subtraction of pixel values of predicted block from pixel values of current block; and formation of decoded video block by summation of residual block samples and corresponding samples of predicted block, wherein residual unit samples correspond to difference between current unit and predicted unit.

EFFECT: technical result consists in improvement of efficiency of decoding.
