SUBSTANCE: motion compensating device is provided, in which the luminance signal interpolation filtering unit is configured to determine the reference luminance signal unit in the reference luminance signal image for predicting the current unit by using the luminance signal motion vector of the current unit and to generate a luminance signal of 1/4- or 3/4-pixel location included in the luminance signal reference unit by applying a 7-tap filter with seven filter coefficients to the sample luminance signal elements of the pixel position of the luminance signal reference image, and an interpolation filtering unit of the colour signal is configured to determine a colour signal reference unit in the colour signal reference image for predicting a current unit by using the motion vector of the current unit colour signal and generating a sample of the colour signal of 1/8 - or 1/2-pixel location included in the colour signal reference unit by applying a 4-tap filter with four filter coefficients to the sample colour signal elements of the pixel position of the colour signal reference image.
EFFECT: more accurate prediction on the basis of the effective image interpolation.
