SUBSTANCE: invention relates to encoding with prediction using motion compensation. Disclosed is method for motion compensation, where is defined in reference image brightness signal support block brightness signal for prediction of current block using brightness signal motion vector of current unit, generated selection unit for brightness signal of 1/4 or 3/4 pixel location, included in brightness signal support block, using 7-output filter to sampling elements brightness signal whole pixel location of brightness signal reference image, determine reference image colour signal support unit colour signal for prediction of current block using motion vector of chroma signal of current unit and generated selection unit for chromaticity signal selection of 1/8 or 1/2 pixel location, included in support block chromaticity signal by applying 4-discharge filter to elements of the chroma signal sampling whole pixel location of chroma signal reference image, where 7-output filter comprises seven filtration coefficients and 4-output filter contains four filtration coefficients.
EFFECT: technical result is more accurate prediction based on effective interpolation of images.
