FIELD: physics.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to abrasive ultrasonic treatment and can be used for burr removal from small metal parts in working chamber. Treatment is carried out in liquid medium with abrasive at excess hydrostatic pressure within 0.3–0.5 MPa. Increasing intensity of ultrasonic vibrations in working chamber in direction from bottom to top up to transition of parts into suspended state, providing removal of burrs due to cavitation phenomena and collision of abrasive particles with part.
EFFECT: higher quality and efficiency of burr removal at minimum costs and minimum change of geometrical sizes of parts.
