FIELD: electrical engineering.

SUBSTANCE: polarity correction circuit for reducing power imbalance comprises first and second polarity correction circuits, each having input for receiving input current, output for supplying rectified output current, at least a first current path for receiving current, when received current has first polarity, and a second current path for carrying the received current when the received current has a second polarity, wherein the first current path comprises a passive rectification component as a first-type asymmetrical conductivity component, and second current path comprises active component of rectification as component with asymmetrical conductivity of second type, different from first type; polarity correction circuit for reduction of supply imbalance additionally contains controller, wherein the controller is configured to control the active rectification component for operation in the power imbalance reduction mode, when current received by first polarity correction circuit is conducted along first current path of first polarity correction circuit, and the current received by the second polarity correction circuit is conducted along the second current path of the second polarity correction circuit.

EFFECT: technical result is reduction of power imbalance even when using a cross-type cable instead of a direct-type cable.
