FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medicine, namely to laboratory diagnostics. A method for determining an optimal cryoprotector according to a cytochemical indicator of the content of succinate dehydrogenase in autologous leukocytes involves preparing a portion of venous blood before the beginning of cryogemotransfusion therapy, dividing into equal portions into test tubes, in one of which the control blood sample (CS) does not contain a cryoprotector, in another one is added by one equal dose of tested cryoprotectors – test samples (TS), drops of TS and CS are applied in volume of 4 mcl on the objective glasses, from which thin smears are made, air-dried, preparations are prepared according to Nahlas method in modification of R.P.Narcissov, leukocytes are microscopically transmitted, comparative analysis of the average cytochemical coefficient (CCC) of segmented neutrophils and lymphocytes with granules of blue colour of SDH TS and CS; with equal CCC TS and CCC CS values, the tested cryoprotector is evaluated as optimal for a particular patient and suitable for use; at CCC TS values, other than CCC CS, conclusion is made as unfit to cryoprotector.
EFFECT: what is presented is a method for determining an optimal cryoprotector according to a cytochemical indicator of succinate dehydrogenase content in autologous leukocytes.
