FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a method of producing modified magnetite crystals (Fe3O4) containing a mixture of lipids on the surface, and can be used in pharmaceutical industry. Proposed method of producing modified magnetite crystals involves mixing 138 pts.wt. magnetite crystals with size of 23–27 nm with 1 pts.wt. cholesterol mixture, 1,2-distearoyl-sn-glycero-3-phosphocholine, 1,1'-(2-(4-(2-((2-(bis(2-hydroxydodecyl)amino)ethyl)(2-hydroxydecyl)amino)ethyl)piperazin-1-yl)ethylazanediyl)dododecan-2-ol and lipid on based polyethylene glycol-2000, taken in weight ratio of 15:7:75:3, respectively, first with 60,000 pts.wt chloroform, then with water, treatment of the mixture with ultrasound and separation of crystals of magnetite and is characterized by that the lipid based on polyethylene glycol-2000 is an ammonium salt of 1,2-distearoyl-sn-glycero-3-phosphoethanolamine-N-[amino(polyethylene glycol))-2000] and the mixture is treated with ultrasound for 20–60 minutes using an ultrasonic probe placed in the mixture.
EFFECT: novel efficient method of producing modified magnetite crystals, which enables to obtain crystals of prolonged storage.
