FIELD: alcoholic beverage industry.

SUBSTANCE: grain distillate is diluted with treated water to 54–56 vol. % of proof, is filtered on a carbon mini-column loaded with activated carbon impregnated with platinum, at rate of 30–40 dal/h per one filter element with height of 250 mm. Distillate is infused with oak chips of medium or strong burning degree at 10–15 g/l for 26–30 days. First 12–14 days are infused at temperature of 40–45 °C, and subsequent – without heating, wherein oxygen is dosed therein in a day to its content in distillate from 5 to 7 mg/dm3. Oak chips are pre-soaked in the distillate, the mixture is held for 1 day and added to the filtered distillate. It is diluted to the required strength with corrected water, blended with addition of a sugar colouring agent dissolved in undiluted distillate, and, if necessary, honey of natural light varieties or sugar syrup. Blend is cooled, filtered, subjected to rest and bottled whiskey.

EFFECT: invention allows to enhance the ready product quality.
