FIELD: alcoholic beverage industry.

SUBSTANCE: grain distillate with strength of 78–85 %, obtained from a mixture of maize, wheat and barley in amount of 60–80 %, 20–40 %, 10–20 %, respectively, is divided into two parts, one of which is infused on chips subjected to heat treatment at temperature 160–200 °C, based on 20–40 g/l for 28 days. First 14 days are carried out at temperature of 40–45 °C, and subsequent – in natural conditions, during infusion during a day periodical dosing of oxygen to its content in diluted distillate from 5 to 7 mg/dm3. In another part one adds sugar colouring agent, blends it with aged distillate in amount of 20 % to 40 % of blend volume and diluted to required strength with corrected water. Blend is cooled down to minus 10–0 °C, filtered and subjected to rest for 5–10 days with further whiskey dispensing.

EFFECT: invention allows to enhance the ready product quality.
