FIELD: physics.

SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to the ranking of elements, specifically to methods and systems for determining ranked positions of non-native elements using a ranking system. To this end, each element is associated with a visual position on the SERP such that the native elements and the non-native element are structured into visual 2D structure having rows, each row having two horizontally structured elements. Method includes training a ranked system for predicting a predicted utility estimate. Method also includes determining an optimum ranked position for a non-native element using a ranking system in a use phase.

EFFECT: technical result is the development of methods and systems for determining ranked positions of non-native elements using a ranking system, as well as methods and systems which enable to train a ranking system for prediction of utility estimates of non-native elements for different ranked positions and use predicted utility estimates for selecting location of non-native elements among native elements on said SERP.
