SPRING BASE FOR EXTENSION AND ELONGATION OF SPINE Russian patent published in 2019 - IPC A61F5/00 A61H1/02

Abstract RU 2689841 C1

FIELD: medicine.

SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medical equipment, namely to physiotherapeutic devices for relieving stresses from skeletal muscles, unloading of nerve endings, restoration of intervertebral disks and correction of mutual position of vertebras. Spring base for elongation and elongation of the spinal column comprises two end transverse elements, and also located in parallel to the lumbar support and with a gap relative to each other rigid support elements, which are arranged on both sides relative to the lumbar support. Rigid support elements are fixed with the possibility of spring-loaded displacement of them against the lumbar support under action of external load. Spring-loaded base contains two identical and parallel hollow cases of tubular shape. Chambers are located horizontally, opposite to each other and are connected to each other by means of two end cross elements located perpendicular to bodies, as well as additionally inserted and located between them and a third parallel transverse element, on which a lug is fixed, located perpendicular to bodies, each of which is made with two vertical ribs located in its upper part and symmetrically relative to vertical longitudinal plane of symmetry of corresponding chamber. In the area of each rib of both bodies located on one side relative to the lumbar support there is a row of through holes arranged with the same pitch in the longitudinal direction of each rib and at the same level. On the area of each rib of both bodies located on the other side relative to the lumbar support there is a row of the same or another number of through holes located with the same pitch in the longitudinal direction of each rib and at the same level so that the axes of all through holes lie in one horizontal plane. Through holes made in ribs corresponding to the same body are arranged in pairs coaxially, and each pair of through holes made in the ribs of one body is located coaxially to the corresponding pair of coaxially located through holes made in the ribs of the other body. In each pair of coaxially arranged through holes made in the ribs of each body there is a horizontally located axis, on which a holder is arranged with possibility of rotation. All holders are made identical in the form of an angular lever including an upper element inclined away from the lumbar support, and a lower element. Lower element of each holder is passed through the corresponding through rectangular slot made in the wall part of each chamber between the ribs, long sides of which are parallel and symmetrical relative to the vertical longitudinal plane of symmetry of the corresponding chamber. Lower element of each holder is placed in the corresponding through rectangular slot with possibility of interaction of its or made on it of the corresponding projection with the short side of the corresponding through slot facing the lumbar support at maximum value of inclination of the upper element of the holder corresponding to it, as well as providing possibility of interaction of its or corresponding ledge made at specified initial inclination angle of upper element of corresponding holder relative to horizontal plane with short side of same through slot located opposite to its short side. On the end section of the lower element of each holder there installed is a horizontally located axis with the ends symmetrically protruding on both sides of the lower element of the holder, on each of which with possibility of rotation a cylindrical roller is installed. End sections of upper elements of holders, which are arranged on different chambers, but on coaxial axes, are connected in pairs to each other by means of horizontally located rigid support element. In the cavity of each body with contact with the inner surface of the corresponding body and with all rollers at the initial angle of inclination of the upper element of all holders relative to the horizontal plane there is an elastic chamber of elongated shape, filled with pressurized gas and equipped with a nozzle. Chambers are made identical, and branch pipes are pneumatically connected to each other and to the cock made with inlet branch pipe. Upper and lower elements of each holder are located at an angle relative to each other, providing in the initial position of the holders location of each upper element relative to the horizontal plane at an angle equal to a given initial angle of inclination thereof from the lumbar support, as well as arrangement of each lower element in cavity of corresponding chambers with provision of elastic interaction of rollers arranged on its end section with corresponding elastic chamber of elongated shape.

EFFECT: invention is characterized by simplified design of a spring base for elongation and elongation of the spine with simultaneous improvement of its operational parameters.
