SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the automotive industry. Pneumatic tire is equipped with multiple cross breakers and one or more protective breakers provided in radial direction of cross breaker buses. Width of the widest protective breaker among protective breakers is greater than the width of any of the cross breakers. When in the pneumatic tire profile the maximum position of the projection of the widest protective breaker is designated as A, the position of the edge of the widest protective breaker is marked B, position, at which straight line a passing through maximum position A of projection and passing in direction perpendicular to tread surface crosses surface of protector, designated as A', and the position, in which the straight line b passing through the edge position B and passing in the direction perpendicular to the tread surface, crosses the tread surface denoted by B', an angle formed between a first straight line which connects a maximum projection position A and an edge position B and a second straight line which connects position A' and position B', ranges from 0° up to 15°.
EFFECT: technical result is improved resistance to lamination on tire breaker edge.
