SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to a cutting assembly for a cutter machine, a cutting module, a method of cutting a cutting assembly for a coal cutter. Cutting unit for coal cutting machine is intended for rock destruction and contains structure for shaft support, shaft at least partially located inside said structure, cutting device located on shaft or on said structure, and the first rolling bearing located between said structure and shaft in a floating manner or with possibility of sliding in axial direction, second rolling bearing located between said structure and shaft. Virtual line orthogonal to the outer surface of the second roller of the said second rolling bearing crosses the longitudinal axis of the shaft in the central plane of the first rolling bearing or within +/- 25 % of the axial length of the first rolling bearing from said central plane. Cutting module comprises two or more cutting units. Proposed method comprises removal of cutting device and/or rear cover fitted on shaft and / or shaft support structure. Method also includes re-installation of the cutting device and / or rear cover or installation of a new cutting device and/or a new back cover. At that, the first and the second rolling bearings remain installed in their places between the said structure and the shaft during the cutting assembly disassembly.

EFFECT: technical result is longer service life of bearing assembly.
