FIELD: measuring equipment.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to measurement equipment and can be used to assess reliability of complex spatial structures from polymer composite materials (PCM). Method of thermography includes transmission of electric current of permissible level through item for its heating with the help of electric generator. Temperature field is then recorded using thermographic equipment, data are recorded in a signal processing unit. When the temperature exceeds the ambient temperature, the data are recorded in the memory unit. Then power action is applied to the item. Power load is performed by means of article loading system by control unit command. Upon termination of the load, the thermographic equipment removes the new temperature field and records the data in the memory unit. Further, the temperature field data are subtracted in the adder, after which the difference is transmitted to the threshold device for comparison with the threshold temperature. Localized defects are registered in the recorder. Command is sent to electronic control unit.
EFFECT: high reliability of evaluation results of technical and operational conditions of composite structures from PCM.
