FIELD: measurement equipment.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of measurement equipment and may be used to assess reliability of structures from polymer composite materials. The method includes power effect at the surface of the structure and recording of the changes it specifies. Before application of the loads they measure the initial temperature of the monitored structure. In process of monitoring they measure temperature of air near the external surface of the controlled structure. The power effect at the surface of the structure is carried out by exposure of the investigated structure to the increasing static load P. In process of application of the dynamic load they continuously perform recording of the temperature field T. Analysis of the temperature field with the specified period of change variation is carried out continuously. Following the results of the analysis they generate an information signal for detection of the sections of lower strength or detection of defects. On the basis of analysis of temperature field they determine availability of internal residual stresses of the investigated structure and availability of internal defects in it. A device is proposed for realisation of the method.
EFFECT: increased validity of results of assessment of technical and operating condition of structures and their elements from PCM.
