FIELD: metallurgy.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to powder metallurgy, particularly, to production of iron-based powder mixture intended for pressing of metallurgical parts. Preliminary mixing of carbon-containing additive and lubricant based on copper, nickel, iron or manganese sterate in ratio of (1÷2):1. Obtained mixture is sieved to obtain particles with size of 10 to 80 mcm and is added to a diffusion-alloyed iron-based powder containing, wt%: 0.5–5 nickel, 0.5–4 copper, 0.5–1.5 molybdenum, the rest is iron, mixing them at temperature of 120–170 °C. Granulation of the obtained mixture is performed, into which one or several additives activating the sintering process are preliminary introduced in amount of 0.05–5.0 wt%, selected from the group: iron nanooxide, copper nanooxide, nickel nanooxide. Carbon-containing additive used is an additive from the group: graphite, soot, milled special artificial low-ash graphite.
EFFECT: reduced segregation and dust formation of the mixture, high sintering properties, high quality of the articles obtained from the mixture.
