METHOD OF ADDING FINELY DISPERSED MATERIALS IN A LIQUID Russian patent published in 2019 - IPC C10M177/00 C10M125/04 B22F9/02

Abstract RU 2690193 C1

FIELD: technological processes.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to methods of adding finely dispersed materials in a liquid to change their physical-mechanical and/or chemical properties and can be used, in particular, for improving antifriction properties of lubricants by adding fine-dispersed metal materials therein. Proposed method of adding finely dispersed materials in fluid consists in effect of acoustic cavitation on modified liquid and additive materials, due to which erosion of added materials, ingress of particles of material into liquid and their dispersion takes place. Method can be implemented by means of device (presented in Fig. 1), which consists of container 1 with modified liquid 2 with acoustic emitter 3 installed on its bottom, which forms an area of intensive cavitation, which causes erosion of metal materials 4, which are supplied into this area by supply device dispersed materials 5. To ensure uniform distribution of dispersed particles of materials 4 in liquid 2, it is mixed in container 1 by means of mixing liquid 6. Part of mixed liquid 2 is taken from container 1 by device for determination of its physical and mechanical and/or chemical characteristics (viscometer, tribometer, etc. – depending on variable characteristics of liquid 2) 7, output of which is connected electrically or by some other method with device 8 for switching on/off of acoustic emitter 3 and device 5 for feeding dispersed materials into area of intensive cavitation.

EFFECT: disclosed is a method of adding finely dispersed materials in a liquid.
