FIELD: metallurgy.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the processing of metals by pressure and can be used in the preparation of hollow profiles by radial forging on a mandrel. Mandrel is fixed at one end in the feed manipulator of a radial forging machine. Emphasis puller in the form of a compressible damper, with the possibility of contact with the end of the hollow billet and move relative to the mandrel is mounted on the mandrel. At one end, a stop-centring device is installed at the end of the pulling arm of the radial forging machine, having at its other end a covering surface adjacent to the male surface at the end of the mandrel. Mandrel from the end, secured in the feed handle, is made with a limiter move the stop puller. Male surface of the mandrel and the female surface of the focusing centre are tapered.

EFFECT: as a result, the device design is simplified and the quality of finished hollow profiles is improved.
