FIELD: medicine.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medical equipment. Huber needle assembly includes: housing; a needle distally extending from the body; at least, one handle fixed relative to needle and housing; a movable arm having distal and proximal ends, wherein the movable arm is rotatable relative to the body; cap-trap arranged at distal end of movable arm. At that the cap-trap is substantially cylindrical around its longitudinal axis and additionally is formed by the side wall of the perimeter located around the longitudinal axis, besides, the side wall of the perimeter has an outer surface and an inner surface relative to the longitudinal axis; open proximal end; and a slot through the perimeter side wall, wherein the slot has a depth formed by the side wall thickness between the outer surface and the side wall inner surface, wherein the slot has two sides, each of which is characterized by an edge along the depth formed by the side wall thickness between the outer surface and the side wall inner surface, wherein slot is configured to provide access to inner cylindrical chamber of cap-trap, formed at least partially by side wall of perimeter, wherein the slot extends longitudinally over at least a portion of the length of the cap-trap to an open proximal end of the cap-trap, wherein at least a portion of the slot has a width smaller than the outer diameter of the needle. Assembly also comprises an elongated tube extending proximally from the body; and at least one retainer located on the first, outer surface of the movable arm for pressing the movable arm to the elongated tube when the unit is in position before use.

EFFECT: disclosed is a Huber needle assembly with a safety gripping device.
