FIELD: manufacturing technology.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to means of protection against fouling by marine organisms of underwater parts of ships, ships, submarines and hydraulic structures, and specifically to antifouling enamel on rubber. Method comprises first rolling rubber at temperature of not more than 50 °C for 2–3 hours. Then the rolled rubber is dissolved in organic solvents, for this purpose rolled rubber and dibutyl phthalate are loaded into the mixer at the following ratio: 3.0–5.0:3.0–4.5 and mixed in a mixture of organic solvents: acetone, butyl acetate and toluene, taken in ratio: 9–10:4–5:9.5–11 at 18–22 °C is not less than 1 hour. Then colophony is loaded into a mixture of organic solvents of butyl acetate and acetone in the ratio rosin: butyl acetate: acetone: 6–12:7–14:4–8, respectively. Further, biocides – copper oxide and polyhexamethylene guanidine and technical carbon – are added to the obtained colophony solution. Further, additives are added to the reaction mass: vinyl alcohol, benzene sulphonic acid and xylene. Obtained mixture is dispersed for 30–40 minutes. Then the obtained mixture is mixed with rolled rubber dissolved in organic solvents, the mixture is dispersed to degree of grinding of 80 mcm.
EFFECT: technical result consists in the fact that the disclosed method provides higher biocidal and protective properties of anti-fouling enamel, which will enable to obtain a coating on rubber does not accumulate in tropical seas to 1–2 years.
