FIELD: antifouling coatings.
SUBSTANCE: means for protecting underwater parts of vessels, ships and hydraulic structures from fouling by marine organisms. The proposed antifouling material is environmentally friendly and has a net zero carbon. Universal antifouling and anti-corrosion coating composition for air and underwater application is described, including epoxy resin, active thinner, hardener, titanium dioxide, aerosil and additional components: grade 400 cement, epoxidized soybean oil, catamine, copper pyrithione, chlorinated paraffin and carbon black, with the following ratio of components, wt.%: epoxy resin 51.85-55.15; active diluent 3.0-6.0; titanium dioxide 10.0-12.0; soot 0.1-0.2; chlorinated paraffin 0.4-0.7; aerosil 0.2-0.4; cement grade 400 5.0-8.0; epoxidized soybean oil 0.05-0.1; catamine (alkyldimethylbenzylammonium chloride) 0.1-0.2; copper pyrithione 1.0-2.5; amine hardener 18.0-25.0.
EFFECT: creation of an antifouling coating for application to the surface to be protected directly under water using divers or special robotic equipment.
