ROBOTIC COMPLEX FOR REPAIRING DEFECTS OF LONGITUDINAL SEAMS OF PIPES MADE USING LASER WELDING TECHNOLOGY Russian patent published in 2019 - IPC F16L55/18 B23P6/00 B23K26/262 B23K26/70

Abstract RU 2690897 C1

FIELD: robotics.

SUBSTANCE: invention is intended for repair of defects of longitudinal seams of large-diameter pipes made with application of laser, hybrid laser-arc welding technologies. Robotic system includes rail platform 1 installed with possibility of movement on rails 2 located along support rollers 3 intended for arrangement of pipe 4. Railway platform 1 comprises bearing frame 6 with wheel pairs 7. One of wheelsets 7 is connected to drive 8 of platform 1 attached to bearing frame 1. Bearing frame 1 has flooring 9, surface of which is surface of platform 1 with installed on it robot 10 with instrument of ultrasonic inspection, robot 11 with milling head, robot 12 with optical head and surfacing and wire feed equipment, control unit 13, designed to control drive 8 of platform 1 and robots 10, 11, 12.

EFFECT: robotic system allows to eliminate defects of the longitudinal weld of the pipe with maximum preservation of the seam geometry in the repair zone due to controlled movement of the platform carrying the robots along the longitudinal weld of the pipe.
