SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to a method of applying adhesive (330) on at least first sheet (101, 101a, 101b) of wood veneer, a roller device for applying an adhesive and to an installation for making a wood-based laminated board. Coating device (500) for applying coatings, comprising first applicating roller (210), second applicating roller (220) located with formation of working gap (215) between them (210, 220), and first metering roller (230) located with formation between first dosing roll (230) and first supplying roller (210) of first supply gap (g₁). Method comprises feeding adhesive substance (330) onto first applicating roller (210) through first feed gap (g₁) and supply of first sheet (101, 101a, 101b) of the wood veneer through working gap (215) at rotation of the first applied roller (210) and the second applied roller (220). First applied roller (210) is applied by adhesive substance (330) on first surface (111) of the first sheet of wood veneer. Method includes, at first moment (t1) of time, providing rotation of first depositing roller (210) with first speed (va1 (t1)), which is equal to circumferential speed thereof at first moment (t1) of time, and providing rotation of first metering roller (230) with first speed (vd1 (t1)), which is equal to circumferential speed of said roll at first moment (t1) of time. Method includes, at second time moment (t2), rotation of first depositing roller (210) with second speed (va1 (t2)), which is equal to peripheral speed of said roll at second time moment (t2), and providing rotation of first metering roller (230) with second speed (vd1 (t2)), which is equal to circumferential speed of said roll at second time moment (t2). According to the method, the ratio (vd1 (t1)/va1 (t1)) of the first speed (vd1 (t1)) of the dosing roller to the first speed (va1 (t1)) of the roller is different from the ratio (vd1 (t2)/va1 (t2)) of the second speed (vd1 (t2)) of the dosing roll to the second speed (va1 (t2)) of the roller.

EFFECT: technical result achieved by a group of inventions is to control the amount of application of the adhesive substance in a given degree.
