FIELD: machine building.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to sword manipulators for remote operation with radioactive substances in isolated chambers. Sword manipulator comprises actuating element formed by movable bar and gripper, ball bearing, driving installed in wall of chamber, sealing bellows and control handle. Movable rod passes through the ball bearing and is connected to the control handle. Ball support is made in the form of two hemispherical elements installed in sockets on inner and outer sides of sinking and built into inner race of bearings. At the same time outer race of bearings are interconnected by rods. And grip is connected with movable rod by multiple-link hinged parallelogram.
EFFECT: invention provides higher degree of biological protection due to increased tightness.
