FIELD: machine building.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to mechanical manipulators intended for operation in isolated chambers with radioactive substances and excluding direct contact of the person with said substances. Sword manipulator comprises actuating element formed by movable rod and grip, ball bearing installed in wall of chamber, sealing bellows and control handle. Moving rod of actuator is passed through ball bearing, sealing bellows and rigidly connected with control handle. Grip is connected to the movable bar by two parallel multiple hinged parallelograms installed inside the telescopic mechanism. Driven part of the multiple hinged parallelograms is divided into links by the number of movable elements of the telescopic mechanism.
EFFECT: invention provides expansion of service area.
