FIELD: physics.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to manipulators designed for remote operation in sealed boxes excluding impact of aggressive media on service personnel. Manipulator comprises a ball bearing, in which a pipe is mounted with a ball, in which a post is installed with possibility of translational movement, having a locking device for fixing replaceable tools on one end, and the other end is rigidly connected to a wave coupling, located inside the sealed sleeve and connected with control handle. Ball support is made in the form of concentrically located relative to each other additional, external, middle and inner spherical elements with formation of corresponding closed cavities filled with substance, screening gamma-radiation.
EFFECT: use of the invention increases the degree of protection of personnel from radiation.
