FIELD: personal usage items.

SUBSTANCE: in comb (1) first and second recessed parts of curved shape are formed on both edges of perimeter of edge part (3) of first end of flange and edge part (4) of second end of comb in transverse directions, and also the first and second recesses of the tooth of the curvilinear ridge are formed on both edges of the perimeter of the plurality of comb teeth (6) in transverse directions. When one of edge portions (3) of the first end of the comb and edge parts (4) of the second end of the comb is mainly gripped by fingers, the fingers are placed in the first or second recessed part of edge part (3) of the first end of the comb or edge part (4) of the second end comb, as well as in first or second recessed part of comb teeth (6) located nearby. Since each of recessed parts has curved shape, contact with fingers is carried out on surface and, thus, force of gripping acting on fingers is distributed, and load on fingers is reduced, and also increases gripping force due to that finger is placed in each of depressed portions.

EFFECT: reduced load on fingers, gripping comb, and increased gripping force created by fingers grasping comb.
