FIELD: oil, gas and coke-chemical industries.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to gas equipment, mainly to gas cylinders with compressed combustible gas, hydrogen, namely to increase of gas cylinders operation safety. In a gas cylinder containing a body with shutoff valves and a safety valve, twisted threads attached to the polymer adhesive base in one or several layers are laid freely on the inner side of the cylinder wall. Layers are laid one on the other, the laying direction of which is perpendicular to each other or at an angle. Threads can be made of strong material, for example, steel spring wire or Kevlar threads coated with a polymer shell, which includes a flame retardant, wherein the filaments can be a series along a rectangular, triangular or trapezoidal generatrix.
EFFECT: technical result is higher reliability of combustible compressed gas protection against explosion or ignition at mechanical damage of cylinder body integrity.
