SUBSTANCE: device and method relate to the field of molded composite articles reinforced with fiber. Device 1 for molding fiber-reinforced composite element comprises lower mold 2 with cavity 21, upper mold 3 with molding rod 31 for clamping the prepreg P into cavity 21 and cartridge heaters 4 for heating the multilayer prepreg P through lower mold 2 and upper mold 3, as well as channels 5 for cooling carrier for cooling of multilayer prepreg P through lower mold 2 and upper mold 3. Lower mold 2 and upper mold 3 are brought closer to each other according to shrinkage of thermoplastic resin contained in multilayer prepreg P during cooling. Device additionally comprises pins 11 moved into and out of cavity 21, cylinders 13 to move pins 11 into and out of cavity 21, as well as controller 6 for instructing pins 11 protrude into cavity 21 to come in contact and apply pressure to multilayer P prepreg during cooling. Device can mold composite fiber-reinforced composite without forming delamination in thicker butt end fragment of multilayer prepreg without increasing molding time.

EFFECT: technical result achieved using the group of inventions is to eliminate stratification in the end fragment, for example, in the middle of the thickness of the multilayer prepreg.
