SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medicine, namely to endoscopy, and can be used for accurate localization of a pathological focus in the small intestine when performing balloon assisted enteroscopy. During balloon assisted enteroscopy and pathology of the small intestinal mucosa, a white plastic tube 700 cm long is inserted through the enteroscope instrument canal into the lumen of the jejunum. On the surface of the tube there is marking of the distance of a certain colour at distance of 20 cm. When the endoscope reaches the ligament Threitz or Ileocecal valve is possible with accuracy of up to 20 cm to determine the distance from the area of interest to the above anatomical marks.

EFFECT: method enables accurate localization of a pathological lesion in the jejunum when performing balloon assisted enteroscopy by using 700 cm-long plastic tube with marking of the distance of a certain colour at a fission distance of 20 cm.
